Join Indivisible Redding Shasta
Indivisible Redding Shasta is a local grassroots community group focused on protecting democracy, civic engagement, and making sure everyday people have a voice in local, state, and national issues.
We work to inform, organize, and empower people to take action—whether that means attending public meetings, supporting voter rights, advocating for transparency and accountability in government, or standing up for policies that protect our community.
We believe real change happens when people stop waiting and start doing something—together. As part of the broader Indivisible movement, we are committed to peaceful action, community connection, and defending democratic values right here in Shasta County.

Steve Dodge, host of Facts Still Matter and creator of the Do Something Tour, is focused on one simple but powerful message: stop waiting for change and start creating it.
Through his podcast and live community events, Steve brings people together to have honest conversations about the issues impacting our communities, our democracy, and our future. His mission is to empower everyday people to take action—whether that means getting informed, showing up, speaking out, or finding practical ways to make a difference where they live.
The Do Something Tour is about turning frustration into action, reminding people that real change starts when ordinary people decide to do something.
Steve's Do Something Tour
The Do Something Tour by Steve Dodge is built around one powerful idea: if you want change, you have to be willing to do something.
Steve is traveling the country hosting live events, open forums, and honest conversations, to bring communities together to talk about the issues people care about most—democracy, accountability, local government, civic engagement, and how everyday people can take their power back.
The tour is not about political theater—it’s about action. It’s about giving people the tools, information, and confidence to stop feeling powerless and start making real change in their own communities.
Because democracy only works when people show up, speak up, and do something.
